Patriots Weekend, July 17 – 19, celebrates Sullivan County’s Revolutionary War History at the Minisink Battlefield in Barryville.  On Saturday, July 18 at 1, there is a reading of the Declaration of Independence along with the Loyalist response.  Noah Lewis speaks at the Pavillion at 11 am about the role of African Americans in the American Revolution.  Linda Russell, a Colonial Musician performs at 3pm.  Throughout the day, events such as battle skirmishes, musket demonstrations and walking tours take place
