The Delaware County Public Health Services will host a free rabies vaccination clinic for pets in Hancock on Monday, May 11.
The clinic will run from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Hancock Town Hall, located at 661 W. Main St.
Free rabies vaccinations will be available for dogs, cats and ferrets. Vaccinations will be administered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Officials strongly encourage residents to pre-register online to help speed up the process.
Pet owners are reminded that animals must be healthy to receive the vaccine. Dogs must be leashed, while cats and ferrets must be transported in carriers.
Registration is available through the New York State Department of Health at health.ny.gov/go2clinic.
