The Greater Honesdale Partnership is inviting local businesses and community members to participate in the St. Patrick’s Day Decorating Contest, designed to bring festive cheer to the area this March.
Participants are encouraged to decorate their storefronts, entryways, and sidewalks with St. Patrick’s Day-themed items like shamrocks, leprechauns, and rainbows. The contest is open to all businesses in the Honesdale area.
How to Enter:
- Decorate Your Display – Create a St. Patrick’s Day-themed display at your business or residence.
- Ensure Sidewalk Safety – Decorations should not obstruct walkways or create hazards for pedestrians.
- Notify the Partnership – To enter, email Sara Miller at events@visithonesdalepa.com by March 10, 2025.
- Set-Up Deadline – Displays must be set up by 4:00 p.m. on March 13, 2025.
- Submit Photos – After your display is set, email photos of your decorations to Sara Miller for social media promotion.
Judging and Prizes:
Judging will take place on March 14, 2025, and winners will be announced on March 16, 2025. The top two entries will receive prizes, which will be announced soon.
