SEEDS Launches Free Home Energy Efficiency Assessment Program to Help Residents Lower Energy Bills This Summer
Sustainable Energy Education and Development Support (SEEDS) is launching its Home Energy Efficiency Assessment Program, a free, summer-long initiative designed to help homeowners understand their energy use, lower their utility bills, and improve household comfort through personalized, one-on-one energy coaching.
Running from May through the end of August, the program provides residents with individualized support that begins with a conversation. SEEDS staff work directly with homeowners to review energy bills, walk through a simple energy efficiency checklist, and identify practical, low-cost actions that can reduce energy waste.
Homeowners interested in participating are encouraged to sign up early, as appointment availability is limited during the summer months. Residents can learn more or sign up by visiting www.seedsgroup.net/energy-efficiency or by calling 570-241-1256. Phone sign-ups are available for residents without internet access.
