Liberty High School students, staff and community members now have a new way to discover and share books with the installation of a Little Free Library on campus.
The new library was created through the efforts of the Liberty High School Interact Club, which worked to establish the book-sharing station as a resource for the school and broader community.
The Little Free Library allows visitors to borrow books, donate gently used titles, exchange books with others and explore new authors and genres. The collection is open to students, faculty and local residents.
The project is part of the global Little Free Library movement, which encourages literacy, community engagement and the sharing of books through small, free neighborhood libraries.
Members of the Interact Club said they hope the library will serve as a welcoming space where books, ideas and opportunities can be shared throughout the community.
