A newly imposed 4% energy tax went into effect September 1 for Sullivan County residents. Sean Welsh, Energy Resource Educator at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Sullivan County, says this would be a good time for folks to take advantage of the energy-saving and money-saving programs he can offer residents.
