So far this year, the Wayne County Housing Program has helped find places to live for five times as many people as any other year. And the wave of evictions because of non-payment during the pandemic hasn’t even started yet. That’s set to happen in December. Heather Miszler heads up the Wayne County Housing program, Lori O’Malley is the Deputy Human Services Administrator for Wayne County and they tells us homelessness is a serious issue in Wayne.
