The annual New Paltz Earth Day Fair will take place on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, offering information and presentations on a range of environmental topics. The event is themed “Our Planet, Our Power” and is free to attend.
Organized by Interfaith Earth Action, the Caring for Creation Committee of the Reformed Church of New Paltz, and the New Paltz Climate Action Coalition, the fair will feature presentations on community solar, composting, single-use plastic reduction, the “7 R’s” of green living, insulation, electric vehicles, and more.
Attendees can also tour UCAT’s electric bus and County Waste’s “Touch-a-Truck,” enjoy a nature walk at 10:00 AM (before the fair), and view UN flags flying on Huguenot Street representing the global effort for environmental protection.
