No Property Tax Increase in Proposed Sullivan County 2024 Budget

Sullivan County unveiled its tentative 2024 Budget, and the county says it will be expanding services without a tax hike.

Radio Catskill’s Patricio Robayo spoke to Sullivan County Manager Josh Potosek about the proposed $288 million budget plan.

NOTE: Formal public hearings about the proposed 2024 County Budget are set for Tuesday, December 5, at 5:30 p.m. and Thursday, December 7, at 10:30 a.m. Both hearings will be held at the Government Center in Monticello. Written comment is being accepted by Clerk of the Legislature AnnMarie Martin at annmarie.martin@sullivanny.us or 100 North Street, Monticello, NY 12701.

    Good but thought the County taxes were going to be lowered due to the Catskills World Resort as Cuomo promise?
