MILFORD, PA – The Pike County Commissioners will host a Pennsylvania Department of Aging Elder Justice Roundtable Event on Thursday, May 15, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Pike County Training Center, 135 Pike County Blvd., Lords Valley, PA 18428.
The event will focus on the state of elder justice in Pennsylvania, examining current challenges and exploring potential solutions. Pennsylvania Department of Aging Secretary Jason Kavulich will deliver opening remarks and provide insights into proposed solutions.
Attendees will hear from various stakeholders, including Representative Madden from House District 115, Elder Justice Task Force representatives, and Brian Duke, Former Secretary of Aging and current Older Adult Advocacy Center representative.
A multidisciplinary team presentation by Dr. Lisa Rachmuth of Weill Cornell Medicine and Caroline Burnell of Temple University will also be featured. The event will conclude with a round table discussion.
