The Sullivan County Emergency Services Youth Academy will be returning July 21-25, 2025.
Open to Sullivan County 14-16-year-olds, the Emergency Services Youth Academy is a weeklong, immersive tour of the people, policies and practices behind emergency response. Participants will spend five days gaining in-depth, hands-on knowledge about drones, search & rescue techniques, firefighting, 911 dispatch, tactical law enforcement vehicles, helicopters, ambulances, bomb disposal methods, K-9 units and more. They’ll also become certified in CPR and first aid.
