MONTICELLO, NY— The Sullivan County Legislature is accepting applications for its 2026 Legislative Discretionary Contract Program, offering funding to eligible nonprofit and civic organizations on a rolling basis throughout the year.
The program is designed to support Sullivan County and county-oriented entities working to advance public safety, public health, youth services, community development, economic development, environmental hazard mitigation and county beautification.
Funding is limited. Applicants must demonstrate a clear justification for any requested funds and show how the money would help achieve one of the program’s stated goals.
To qualify, organizations must be not-for-profit agencies or civic groups operating within Sullivan County and not part of county government.
Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis throughout 2026, as long as funds remain available and can be used during the calendar year. The County Legislature will review submissions as they are received.
The application form is available as a fillable PDF on the Sullivan County website under “Apply for Discretionary Funding” in the Helpful Links section or on the County Legislature’s page.
Completed applications and supporting documentation may be submitted by email to Senior Budget Analyst Michael D’Auria.
Applicants may also mail or hand-deliver materials to the Sullivan County Division of Management & Budget, c/o Michael D’Auria, County Government Center, 100 North St., Monticello, NY 12701.
