High-speed internet may soon be coming to your home or small business if you live in Sullivan County.
On Thursday, Sullivan County kicked off a $30 million broadband project under New York State’s ConnectALL program to bring high-speed internet to homes and businesses. For decades, the county’s mountainous terrain in the Catskills has hindered broadband expansion. Representatives from Archtop Fiber, the project’s internet service provider, said that they hope to begin construction by August 1 and complete the project by the end of 2026.
Radio Catskill’s Kimberly Izar was at the kickoff at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in Bethel, N.Y. and brings us this report.

I Hope this will work out for us mountaineers. My latest issue is that I had to cancel my online boating safety course because of internet/browsing issues. Thank you!
