Kingston, NY – Ulster County voters should expect to find annual mail check cards arriving in their mailboxes this week, the Ulster County Board of Elections announced. These cards contain vital information regarding voter registration and polling locations for the upcoming 2025 elections.
Voters are urged to review their cards promptly upon receipt and confirm the accuracy of their information. The Board of Elections also asks that anyone receiving a card for a former resident return it to the mail marked “No longer at this address” or contact the Board of Elections at 845-334-5470.
It is important to note that Ulster County will only be holding Primary Elections on June 24, 2025, for Democratic races in the following areas: Towns of Hurley, New Paltz, Olive, Rosendale, Shandaken, Wawarsing, and Woodstock; Village of Ellenville; and parts of the City of Kingston, Marbletown, and Saugerties.
Voters can find additional details about the June 24th Primary, including sample ballots, early voting information, and a poll site lookup tool, on the Ulster County Board of Elections website at voteulster.com. Information on absentee ballots, early voting by mail, and serving as an election inspector is also available on the website or by calling the Board of Elections at 845-334-5470.
While the mail check card serves as a notification for all elections administered by the Board of Elections in 2025, voters are not required to present it at polling places. However, the card can help streamline the voter check-in process.
