The Wayne County Commissioners and the Planning/GIS Department is launching its Comprehensive Plan Update with surveys – one for residents and a second for part-time neighbors and visitors.
Access to the surveys is available online using the links or QR codes or a paper copy is available at libraries, senior centers and town offices.
The Wayne County Comprehensive Plan, a multi-year process, looks at everything from population and demographics to economic development and transportation. It also includes the nearly completed Natural Resources and Outdoor Recreation Plan and the newly commissions Housing Assessment and Strategy. Community Facilities, Cultural and Historic assets also receive equal treatment.
