Folks, here’s the rundown –

WJFF CHRISTMAS EVE SPECIALS Sun. 12/24

From 11a-1p, 2p-4p, and 7p thru the overnight!

(Note – WJFF is NOT responsible if you stay up late and Santa doesn’t come)

11a.m. SUNDAY BRUNCH – Two-Hour Christmas Special – great holiday music, classical and pop, with Glenn Wooddell.

2p.m. – NINE CAROLS & LESSONS – Pipedreams host Michael Barone presents this live service of spoken-word and music (choral and organ) broadcast from the chapel of King’s College in Cambridge, England. From American Public Media

6p.m. – SELECTED SHORTS – “Christmas Guests” – Host Sean Leonard

7p.m. – SET CHRISTMAS OFF pt1 – WJFF’s own Clyde Yates from Set It Off (Noon Fridays) brings you an hour of holiday favorites.

8p.m. –AFTERGLOW SOUL CHRISTMAS – Classic soul sounds from Otis Redding, Ray Charles, Sharon Jones, and others, hosted by Mark Chilla.

9 p.m. – WJFF HOLIDAY CABARET – Performances by Janet Burgan, Lumiri Tubo, Doug Rogers, and Little Sparrow recorded at The Cooperage in 2014.

10 p.m. – LEO’S CHRISTMAS SPECIAL – WJFF Youth Radio DJ spinning rocking and folky holiday tunes with Jethro Tull, Blackmore Night, and Trans Siberian Orchestra.

11 p.m. – A VERY CROONER CHRISTMAS! – Familiar standards by jazz & pop crooners like Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Rosemary Clooney. Hosted by Mark Chilla for Afterglow.

Midnight – NOAH BARKER TRIO – Chtristmas Jazz recorded live at the Janice Center in Jeffersonville, 2012.

1a.m. – AFTERGLOW WINTER WONDERLAND! – Favorite non-Chtristmas wintertime songs from the Great American Songbook. Hosted by Mark Chilla.

2 a.m. – SET CHRISTMAS OFF pt2 – Still up? Well, Clyde Yates has a SECOND hour of holiday favorites for you!

3 a.m. – SCDW IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE – The Sullivan County Dramatic Worksho’s presentation of It’s A Wonderful Life, recorded in Fallsburg, 2014

4:30 a.m. – BBC World Service – Regular Programming Resumes

CHRISTMAS DAY Mon 12/25

Noon – CHRISTMAS AROUND THE WORLD – Songs for the holidays from everywhere from Ballads and Banjos with Sonja Hedlund.

1p.m. – LIGHTER SIDE OF THE HOLIDAYS – Angela Page’s Folk Plus featuring an hour of holiday songs with a sense of humor.

2 p.m. – CATSKILL CHARACTER – TRIGGS’ XMAS IN NARROWSBURG – Travels With Triggs goes to Narrowsburg for the holidays. Hear what local folks are up to for the Christmas!

8p.m. – BOSSA NOVA CHRISTMAS – WJFF’s Making Waves takes the night off and brings you a Bossa flavored mix of holiday tunes.
